No-Fry Churros | Easy Baked Churros

Servings - 4



Ingredients:  


  • 1 cup of water 

  • 4 to 6 tablespoons sugar 

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt 

  • 1/2 cup butter 

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour  

  • 2 large eggs 

  • Cinnamon powder

  • Powdered sugar


Method:  



  1. In a pot, combine water, sugar, salt, and butter.  

  2. Heat the pot until it boils and the butter melts. 

  3. Then, turn off the heat and add the flour. 

  4. Stir the mixture until it forms a smooth dough. 

  5. Add the eggs and mix until they are fully combined. 

  6. Scoop the dough into a piping bag with a star tip. 

  7. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and pipe the churros onto them. 

  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 220 °C for 20 to 25 minutes.

  9. Sprinkle the churros with powdered sugar and cinnamon powder.
